ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrival in Athens International Airport and transfer by our representative to your hotel.day at leisure. We suggest you visit the Old Part of town, Plaka and eat at the traditional “tavernas”. Overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, transfer by our representative to Piraeus port to embark on the vessel for your 3-Day Island Cruise. Afternoon arrival in the Island of Mykonos, with its rustic windmills, beautiful beaches and cosmopolitan nightlife, which have made this Cycladic Island, the island of choice for the rich and famous of the world. Late departure for Rhodes.

Day 3

Morning arrival into Rhodes, the largest of the Dodecanesse Islands, known as the Island of Roses. Take an optional excursion to the city of Rhodes and Lindos or visit the Old City on your own. Visit the medieval Castle built by the crusading Knights of St. John, walk through the Street of Knights and be transferred to the Medieval Ages. Afternoon departure for Patmos.

Day 4

Morning arrival into the Island of Patmos, well known from the Monastery of St. John. Here is where the book of Revelation was written. Early departure for Kusadasi. You may take an optional tour to the ancient Greek city of Ephesus (optional), or look for bargains at the local bazaar’s leather shops. Afternoon departure for Piraeus.

Day 5

Early morning arrival into Piraeus port and transfer by our representative to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 6

After breakfast, begin your Classical tour of Greece. Visit the archaeological site of Mycenae and then on to Nafplion. In the afternoon, drive to the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus with the remarkable acoustics. Return to Nafplion, dinner and overnight.

Day 7

After breakfast, drive through Central Peloponnese, passing the cities of Megalopolis and Tripolis. Arrive in Olympia. In the afternoon, visit the archaeological site and the Museum of Ancient Olympia, where the ancient Games games where held. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 8

After breakfast, drive via Patras to Rion, where you cross by car-ferry to Antirion and driving through Nafpaktos, arrive in Delphi. Visit the archaeological site and see the Oracle, which the ancient Greeks consulted to learn of their future, the Temple of Apollo, the Clia Spring. Rest of day at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

Day 9

After breakfast, visit the Museum of Delphi in which, among other archaeological treasures you may admire the unique bronze Charioteer. Depart for your way back to Athens. Overnight.

Day 10

After breakfast, transfer by our representative to the airport for your departure.
